Note- I just received this. I ve been a laser freak my whole life, and I ve owned and professionally used dozens from laser pointers to large fram gas laser to RGB scanners. This is the best of all of them The machining is perfect. The design is perfect. The UX is perfect. The collimating is amazing for three modules in such a small space. It took a long time to arrive, and one was lost in the mail on the way, but it was worth the wait. And their support deserves a callout - I became pretty impatient as I was waiting, but Francis was unfailingly polite.

Since these are not available at this time, I bought one used from a friend. The unit probably has a fair amount of time on it, but the red is producing 150 mw, green 125 and blue about 120. This adds up to close to 350 milliwatts total power, missing a fair amount as this pointer is supposed to produce 500 mw of output when all three colors are on at full output. The advertisement for this pointer does say after 12 years the output will be about half of what one is new, but I didn't expect that much difference after about 2.5 years of use. Perhaps the last owner used it a lot more than I think as the "12 year" figure certainly is not 12 years of hours, but an estimated amount of use in that period of time. Aside from that, this is a very nice pointer, very smooth and perfectly machined.

I love this RGB laser! Its my new favorite thing. I was thinking about getting more tritium vials. How do they attach to the laser? Are they glued, or just snap in? Thanks again for everything!

I received it yesterday. This is the first laser I have purchased from you and I think its the best one I have ever seen. Everything that I have read or seen on the internet about it is all true. It truly is a work of art, and I am glad I was able to get one. Stay safe and healthy!

Since many years I d purchased a lot of handheld lasers from different producers, but this device is - regardless of skills - matchless in build quality, material and handling. I m much impressed about the quality, I d never seen before - excellent craftsmanship. Delivery took a little while due to Corona, but is was worth the wait, absolut recommendation. A little hint - the length of the protected 18650er should be over 67mm, in order to get bilateral contact within the housing. Thanks a lot to the team.

This isn't just a laser pointer. It's a work of art! It may look pricey but trust me they don't cut any corners on this one. I have no idea how they can cram so much into such a small space but within minutes of use I already want more Sanwu lasers!

Hello, I have ordered the Damacus RGB and the normal rgb and i'm surprise about the result but i have to said the normal RGB is really better! It's a little deception for the Damas.. But i really love the normal RGB! He le better in divergence and the price is really low cost compare to the Damacus. I'm gonna play more with the normal rgb because batterie is more longue to discharge. Good work parce ;)

I was another one of the first to get a hold of an RGB Laser from Sanwu, I am gonna assume this was the first batch? Not sure if I could justify spending the money for a handheld laser, but I will admit that I am very glad that I did! The build quality and craftmanship is truly amazing! There are NO FLAWS that I can find on this host and the magnetic sliders for adjusting, independently, the RGB output for each laser is sooooo smooth! It gives you complete control to adjust output level and full adjustment of each laser diodes to make an infinite amount of colors!!!! Truly and amazing device. The business end is heavy, as expected, but I have no idea how they crammed everything that in such a small area for this to work!! Diodes, chrom. mirrors , optics, drivers , etc...... The laser feels very solid, with no slop, no vibrations, nothing loose or moving around. Beam is very tight with low divergence, and all lasers seem to line up perfectly! It looks so awesome beaming through different mediums with all of the defractions of the RGB diodes. Honestly, about 1 week after I had this laser, I dropped it onto kitchen ceramic tile floor from about waist level... I feared the worst! But thankfully it had NO ill affects to the host or no issues with laser output or beam, THANKFULLY I dodged a bullet on that one!!!! I take very, very careful measures to make sure that it doesn't happen again, but that also tells me the build quality is amazing! Several weeks later, and still no issues.
Mine shipped with a short tube, and long tube for 18650 lipo use , or 18350 lipo setup. I prefer the longer tube for my setup, mainly due to handling and use of laser, seems a bit easier to use/adjust beams with 18650 setup!
And as for Tritium vials, I ordered mine with none, thinking I would keep the initial cost down. But since then, I have made several other orders from different sites on the web, mainly because I found them cheaper elsewhere, and have installed a few. Now I am waiting on the others to complete tritium install.
So as you can tell, this is a very wordy review, but this laser DESERVES the review I am giving. The amount of time and design Sanwu has put into the production of this handheld is totally worth it!

Hello,
I was fortunate enough to purchase one in the first batch that were available . I could not be happier with the performance of the laser. It does everything it was advertised to do. It is quite heavy, but you can feel the precision when holding it. The three color wheels work perfectly, and adjusting them is easy. The alignment of the three colors is very tight making for some very accurate whites, pinks, magentas, yellows, and whatever. colors you desire to create. When I purchased the unit I did not order the Tritium vials. After using the laser for a few weeks I ordered the "basic" set of RGB & white as in the dark I have to make adjustments by feel. For what I know now I would have ordered them when I ordered the laser. Also, Sanwu Customer Service (Francis) was excellent with answering my questions in a timely manner .
Expensive, but you get what you pay for, a brilliant piece of technology.
