I have 3 challenger 2s, already, 635nm 1watt, 470nm 4.5, 445nm 3watt. This one is just as incredible as all my other Sanwu lasers. Francis is professional and answered all my questions efficiently and promptly. The 492nm 19,os just beautiful onthe evening sky very bright, just be careful of the planes though. It burns so easily and is just a quality product. Excellent service again Francis, thank you again, I have ordered another 3 items, Sanwu is just brilliant,5 stars.

I wanted to say that the laser is working as expected and I am happy with my purchase. I have several friends that will be ordering soon, as I have told them you are a legit place to do business. You can expect more orders from myself as well. Thanks again, Michael Wierson Oakridge, Oregon.

The laser goes above and beyond expectations and I'm very happy to have it in my collection. I've only had great experiences with Sanwu. Full descriptive review and pictures over on LPF: https://laserpointerforums.com/threads/sanwu-challenger-ii-492nm-160mw-review.108182/ Shoutout to Francis for always answering all my questions in the nicest and most informative way possible

I got the Challenger II 4.5 w bright blue. The performance is fantastic! Standing on the top of my condo building I can clearly see the beam point on trees and rock on a hillside 18 miles away. Pointing straight up the beam is so visible for a distance it seems to touch the stars. It also burns things with ease so be careful! Customer service was outstanding in spite of all my questions. Thank you for your all your time and help Francis!

Everyone including my own mother has been impressed by just the sheer craftsmanship and quality solid feel, and that s after she thought I was foolish for buying it. It s also very useful, I ve lit candles with it relatively easily, carved my name into a dollar, melted plastic together to fix a toy for my son (ofc I must keep it as far away from him as possible and I always take the battery out, he s almost 3 and I could easily see him blinding himself or at the least causing severe damage) I have the 1.6w violet; my son enjoys me drawing in glow in the dark paint and recharging the flow and the dark stars above his crib, I haven t done that w this laser yet but I had a generic violet 305 that just barely engrave in plastic and even it seemed bright but it was probably 50w or so or whatever the threshold is to cause burning) this laser must be 30x as strong it s incredible to actually see the violet beam as violet is about the hardest to see. Anyways I would love to leave a review, 5 stars and will try to getting around doing that even tho your lasers are probably the most world renowned globally. Seems. Let every enthusiast recommends Sanwu Lasers.

The laser is amazing when properly powered. Beautiful blue chisel light beam/point! Thanks guys! I also got an order of 2x18350 batteries that appeared the other day - I'm hoping/assuming it was from you guys, and if so - Thank you! This has been one of my better buying experiences internationally and I really appreciate it! Take care and thanks for the awesome products - Will promote to any laser using friends I have!

You really don't understand how incredible these lasers are until you hold one in your hands. The craftsmanship is surpassed by no one and the laser beam they create is simply jaw-dropping. The 488nm is my favorite color in general, so I had to get 2 of them. Beware: Make sure to keep in mind what battery configuration you select on checkout. You will fry the diode if you're not careful! That being said, my only critique is the lack of information regarding this on the website. I'm an amateur laser enthusiast and had to annoy the customer service email over the course of 2 weeks to learn how to accurately use these without harming the laser. I wish the website had more details around battery configurations. Other than that, there really is nothing else to complain about. That issue doesn't even drop it down a star. Fantastic company and fantastic products with English speaking customer service reps. Incredible.

I got the 1.2 watt 525nm version, let me first say, the machining, the overall quality, good as ever. This laser uses the Japanese Nichia nubm03t laser diode, and hoohoohoohoooooo is it EVER BRIGHT. This thing is as ornate as it is quality, I love the knurling patterns, it is something I have fallen in love with already, and I only just got this laser today. Where else does this thing shine let's see, the multi mode operation, yes, this feature is pretty cool I gotta say, although, difficult to use, I can't bring myself to dock sanwu for this however, I love this thing. Let's see what else, the cupronickel construction, this makes the host very good for sustaining a powerful laser for a long time. That being said, the head gets hot FAST, this is good, you want that, that means the heatsink is doing it's job. Another perfect laser from Sanwu, can't say that enough, I love it.

I received the 470 challenger yesterday and I just have to thank you for such a great product... It really is the perfect laser. The way it looks is so nice and the color and power is the best I have ever seen. I am amazed at how well built they are, even my 445 pocket is still working after years of using almost every day. I don t ever write thank you emails for purchases and I have never left feedback for online orders but I really have to say thanks for this one. I will start saving money now because I would love to purchase a 1.4 405 and 1w 520 :) Again, thank you for everything from answering my questions, fast building and super fast shipping. I am very very happy and wish you the best.

What can I say, just excellent craftsmanship, well made, good weight the 470nm colour is exquisite, 4.5 watts just takes care of anything it comes into contact with again., Well worth the wait, Sanwu certainly have the people to make these quality products thank you Sanwu.

Pros : -Small and portable -Very nice weight(262.5g with battery) -High quality machining of metal -Laser body is made of Cupronickel which keeps diode cooler than other material( Low specific heat capacity) -Soft Start diode protection -High temperature protection -Reverse polarity, over-charge & over-discharge protection -Water resistant(at least IPX 4) -AR coated G7 lens protector -Multi-mode driver -Low power mode( 10mW), can be use a a pointing device without worrying about blinding someone -Fairly Low divergence for 3W(1.27mrad). My DIY 1.5W blue laser has higher divergence(1.99mrad) despite having a G7 lens. Cons : -Only 18650 batteries 69mm and above in height can be used, hence unprotected batteries cannot be used -Nickel copper alloy(Cupronickel) is soft can can be easily scratched when not careful -Laser have a duty cycle despite being advertised by Sanwu that its duty cycle is unlimited. -Half clicks can be finicky and take some time to get used to -Laser seems to have the wrong driver More detailed review in : https://laserpointerforums.com/threads/challenger-ii-3w-450nm-multi-mode-laser-review.104698/ Overall, I liked the laser.

I purchased the 4w 470nm challenger 2 and it is everyone thing i could have hoped for! The craftsmanship is extremely well done. I've never even seen a handheld laser that looks this well made before. Aside from its beauty, it is very powerful! HANDS DOWN BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!

I now have 2 challenger II .... 4w 470nm bright blue and 1.2w 525nm green. For me, This host is just the right size, longer than the gaurdians which I like as well, and able to hold higher watt output. I still consider it to be pocketable, and I even choose the 2-18350 setup for higher power which I believe makes it a little longer. The feel is more balanced than the shorter guardian, and fits my hand much better. I like the design on the outside of the host, and the feel is very solid as all Sanwu Lasers! For me I like to go with the higher output and more visible color spectrum of diodes, because I like being able to see the beam profile while lasing at night. Challenger II is a very nice laser host!!

If you have the chance to get such a laser go ahead, its something that s so well finished that it will survive you :)
i just got the 1w green, but i will definitly get more next

Flawless craftsmanship, beautifully made and arrive within two weeks of placing the order. If you're looking for quality then look no further, the Challenger II like all other Sanwu laser products is brilliantly put together. The 405nm 1600mw laser is incredibly powerful too, so do not be fooled by its size.

I recently purchased two Challenger II lasers as astronomy pointers and I must say that the build quality is superb and the host electronics are excellent. Being able to custom order a laser is a big advantage for me, especially with the large selection of diodes, and collimating lens options, including a beam extender (necessary for higher power diodes). I know of no other vendor that offers such a service and delivers such a high quality product. I m very satisfied with my purchase, and I will be back! Thanks!

The Challenger II is a professional handheld laser in every aspect. The build quality and machining on these units is simply breathtaking. These lasers are custom built per order with fine attention devoted to every detail. These handhelds are not the typical cheap lasers sold by other vendors. They are simply works of art.
Furthermore, the representative I dealt with during my purchase was Francis, who is a very kind individual. He is very patient and answers any questions you may have quickly and efficiently. He is a great source to discuss the details for each build. I will only purchase lasers from Sanwu exclusively after seeing the quality handhelds produced by this company. You will be hard pressed to find any comparable products, period.
