The laser works perfectly. The look and material are really well made. When purchasing, I also recommend purchasing Beam Expander.

The laser works very well, the beam is visible exactly as in the photos, although the key to turn it on is not the best and is difficult to use, but you can get used to it

This is MUCH brighter than expected. Far brighter than my 150mw 450nm laser from another vendor. I got two of these and both are comparably bright, so I don't think I just got "lucky" with an abnormal one.

I've ordered a lot of lasers from Sanwu over the years, mainly because they've been reliable and the specs match what you get. I saw this 1.6W blue laser for just $80, plus another $40 for postage and couldn't resist buying it. I ordered it on the 1st Aug 22 and received it on the 15th. I thought I had the wrong laser so asked on their chat and got a reply within the hour with an explanation. It seems the batteries are shipped separately so I bought some 18350s same-day on Amazon, all working. Wow, it is a measured 1.6 Watts, instantly burns, very light and even focusable. The beam is rectangular as expected but reasonably tight, visible in sunlight 20 metres away on non-white surfaces and will burn wood from a few metres away if held steady. An impressive laser, it's going to be one of my favourites for a while, well done Sanwu, yet another reliable product.

As others have mentioned, communication from Sanwu has been poor. The initial email confirmation sent upon placing an order states that customers should receive dispatch emails with tracking information within 15 days of ordering with tracking info, but I received no such email. Further, as two other reviewers mentioned, I selected 2x16340 batteries as part of my order and paid for the highest shipping tier (6 day FedEx/DHL) - while I received the 304 3W 445nm laser within 16 days, the batteries were not included. I emailed Sanwu to inquire about the missing batteries, and was informed they were "shipping separately," and furnishing me with a USPS tracking link (despite the fact that I'd paid $40 for private shipping...) - so far, I still have not received my purchased batteries, and the USPS tracking link still indicates the postal service hasn't received any parcel from Sanwu. Meanwhile, using a benchtop power supply, I was able to test the laser host I purchased without batteries by supplying the required nominal voltage of 7.5v. In testing I've found that the beam divergence is unfortunately quite high even for a multi-mode diode, clocking in at 4.1 mrad. Like others, I'm rather disappointed in my experience - I'd expected better quality and service based on the numerous positive reviews I've seen online, although I'm willing to give Sanwu the benefit of the doubt in light of the pandemic conditions and assume that under normal conditions, things would be better. :(

The laser is bright and the divergence is fairly tight. like many blue lasers it is a rectangle at distances. This laser is bright enough to blind quickly so be safe and wear goggles. It will certainly burn anything in just moments. The laser did not shine "perfectly straight" from the housing but it was decently close. Shipping took a bit but that's just the price of quality. These are better than any USA lasers for the most part. I just like lasers
The 2x 16340s I was supposed to get with this model were missing. I received 18350s instead that do not fit in the laser, making me spend more money to buy the correct batteries else ware. Ive heard great things about these lasers and this company, so far I have witnessed neither.
The dot is there, and it is strong enough to make black foam smoke, but there is a huge amount of noise around the dot. Also they forgot the batteries when I ordered... If you are thinking about spending hundreds of dollars on a laser, you might think again, or look somewhere else.

So first I want to start off by saying there was not much communication I asked for updates and got hardly any of I can recall I only got one. Anyways I ordered one of the $80.00 green lasers I think it's called a 304 or something like that, and along with it I ordered two batteries...I finally received my package and first off it was poorly packaged like a child did it, secondly I have no batteries none, nothing, notta, zip, absolutely no batteries. Third the laser looks nothing like promised in the pictures of the one I selected. So not only can I not test this thing out I have to go and find batteries that are comparable with this thing so I can even test it.....now based on everything so far it's not looking to promising at all it's supposed to be able to light tinder, as well as cut through thin aluminum, burn wood, and paper I can rant on an on but I will do that after I can test it and return with another review....I'm thinking of contacting customer service in hopes of speaking with a person about this because I would like to either be refunded and I can return this item or be delivered the actual product I paid money for I spent $120 in total and was cheated....if you ask me this is all a big scam so save your money....I will be back to right another review once I can find batteries that will work.

This is an absolute beast in such a small package. The description is correct, I could not believe the power this thing has and the beam it puts out. It's great; my one has no flaws I'm aware of as of yet. It's built very well, gets warm quickly, but this is expected obviously. I am fully satisfied with my purchase!

Packs a big punch in a small package. The button on mine is a little touchy and that's why the 4 stars. Gets hot real fast as expected. I'm using Nitecore 16340s. YouTube video after unboxing https://youtu.be/lSPcFLmFuRs
